The brief for this garden was to turn an unloved dog yard into a contemporary space for entertaining and relaxing, surrounded by lush  planting, with an adjoining kitchen garden and a garden office. Cotswold stone gravel is broken up with strips of matching stone paving while the seating areas are enveloped in traditional cottage garden plants.
